Paving & stonework
A wide sawn-stone terrace running the full width of a modern, dark-clad house, with a mown lawn, planted beds and a single large terracotta pot holding the corner.
The same house from the garden: paving carried down in broad steps so the terrace meets the lawn without a lip, with furniture set out on the level.
A gravel and boulder garden with railway-sleeper stepping treads, edged in timber against a bamboo screen — low-maintenance hard landscaping on a difficult, shady strip.
Decking & terraces
Timber decking wrapped around a brick house and softened with layered planting — table, chairs and parasol sitting level on boards laid to the fall of the garden.
Hardwood decking between rendered raised beds and clipped hedging, with a fire table as the centrepiece — a sheltered outdoor room built where the garden ends.
Garden buildings
A bespoke oak garden shelter set on a stone base at the end of a lawn, with a slatted screen for shade and a planted border of yellow and white behind it.
Inside the same building: exposed oak rafters, an oak-slat screen and a corner of seating — a dry, usable garden room rather than a shed with a window.
Planting & courtyards
A walled courtyard planted for shape and shade — a mature climber over old brick, brick steps, terracotta pots of colour and clipped structure against the wall.
Stone setts running up to a stepping-stone path through a planted rockery, with boulders and low shrubs used to hold a bank and give it winter structure.
Lighting & detail
The same garden after dark: uplighting through clipped shrubs against a period brick and stone frontage, with a painted bench lit as the focal point.

Stephen Davies Landscape Limited has been on the Companies House register since 13 October 2005 — company number 05592293, still active, same director throughout. The gardens above were designed, built and in several cases are still maintained by the same person.
